#'s 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6

Hello my minions...Alberto's world, not mine. Lol.
I know I have been slacking, but at the same time I have not. I have four, count them, 4, projects to show you guys tonight. I'm so excited to hear what you have to say! The first project took quite some time to finish. I had to figure out what it was, then it took a while to actually complete it.
Task # 2: Draw a large flourish on the back of your layout. Use a needle to punch evenly spaced holes along the flourish. Use a needle and thread to sew along the holes. Like I said, I had to figure out what a flourish was. Google to the rescue!!! And, my drawing skills are lacking but somehow I managed to draw a flourish. Poking the holes was painstaking. And I sewed for quite some time. After it was done, it sat in it's sleeve for over a week because I loved it so much that I couldn't find a picture that I thought deserved it's spot. Then, I found it. :o)
My favorite wedding photo.

Task # 3: Outline your title with a glue pen and sprinkle glitter over it.
Now I'll be the first person to tell you that I looove glitter on my pages. But, I will also tell you that I love chipboard letters. Combine the two and you have my next project. This is my little cousin Samara who is a ham. I really think that she would do anything to make you smile, and she always makes me smile. She was ready to oblige my need for laughs on New Year's Eve.

Task # 4: Make a patchwork of little squares on your layout.
I started by making squares for my patchwork...then it turned into something else...and them into something else again. I must say I am quite pleased with what I ended up with. Actually I love it. It's also from New Year's Eve when my Uncle Curt decided to ride Samara's new bike thru the kitchen. Just a side note, Samara is 6. Her bike was made for a 6 yr old.

Task # 5: Find the first layout you ever made and copy an element of it.
I actually loved this idea. I saw these two pictures and immediately knew they were perfect for this one. First, my very first layout I made with my little sister Brianna, I think this was made in 2007. Wow, time has flown by.

And second, my new layout with my beautiful mother and her equally beautiful sisters.

A fabulous layout for fabulous ladies!

Task # 6: Use this phrase for your title, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...".
I must say this is kind of a cheat on my part. I did not use the title but I do have a layout with this idea. I made it last year. There are but so many pictures out there that can be used for something like this. My husband's little sister had fun with us this day. Not so sure Cory enjoyed it too much though. Ha ha ha.

I think a this was enough to hold you guys at bay for a bit. I hope you liked. I had loads of fun making them. Questions, comments, critiques are always welcome.

Love, Hugs, and attempting to post in a timely fashion,

Janelle

# 1

First project complete!!!

I gotta tell you, it's hard to create on demand...geeesh. But, I am proud of my work.  Task # 1: Create a layout using the color scheme of light blue, brown, and cream. I had a little trouble with the cream since i don't really have cream paper, but I think I pulled it off. These pictures are from my dad's 50th birthday party. I love to see them that happy.

Now...on to # 2.

Love, Hugs, and gotta buy me some cream colored paper for the future,

Janelle

The Beginning!

Well hello all who have come to join me!

I've decided to start a blog. Honestly, everyone seems to have one and I felt kind of left out. I'm starting with a purpose though. I am a lover of scrapbooking and I am also lazy. When I don't have a specific task it's hard for me to get things done. So, I have found a list of 99 scrapbooking layout challenges on scrapbook.com. I have a task. And, I am ready for the challenge. Come back periodically to see how far I've come. Comment, critique, give advice, give love. All are welcome. Hope to see you around!

Love, Hugs, and Brownies,

Janelle
